Don't forget Stozu. He killed 750(ish) elves, two megabeasts (maimed another) and obliterated half of my fortresses population with his own two hands (and morningstar). The story is on the other forum, so when its up again search for 'legendary goblin'.

I just bought a Q2 house, so I think i might stay for a little longer. But Beorn, doesn't this put your hopes up a little?

Oh and what elections are you talking about, I am finding it very difficult to navigate through the new version as i keep getting automatically logged on to other people's accounts. Just yesterday I was some Croatian from South Africa and I couldn't log out of that user.

He was on the SA boards, here is a link to the page: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=2917631&userid=0&perpage=40&pagenumber=107

Unfortunately you need to pay money to sign up, but if there is anyone here with a SA account I am sure they would be willing to contact him.

Aqizzar, Potash Maker has immigrated to your fortress.
Aqizzar, Potash Maker is throwing a tantrum!

So this you people have been hiding yourselves!  Anyone know how much of the old forum's threads are going to survive the transfer?  I'd hate to lose all that.

Apparently Toady backed up the whole SLQ database a couple of days ago just in case something like this happened.
7  Finally... / Various Nonsense / Re: So, read any good books lately? on: October 24, 2008, 10:07:43 pm
I am currently reading this non-fiction book. It is quite interesting, detailing of how comics came popular in the world.
