Title: Fliers VS. Presure Plate
Post by: Time Kitten on October 26, 2008, 11:56:53 pm
If I set up an areal choke point, will fliers land when forced to ground level, setting off pressure plates and other traps?  Or for that matter, other traps?

I guess this makes no difference, because the creature is in "flying" state only when there's no ground under it's feet. You can test it yourself if you make a flying adventurer.

Flying adventurers are handy.
Mostly the air is unallocated, so you're grounded, but you don't have to go around rivers or murky pools or whathaveyou, you can just fly over them.
You can fly onto the roof of goblin towers, find the demon, and then fly off to the very edge of the map before you're grounded again.

Speaking of pressure plates, do creatures with [trAPAVIOD] (i.e. kobolds/demons) set them off, given the pressure plate is set to the right size?
